Jefferson Moon | Artist Portfolio

Jefferson Moon

Jefferson Moon’s unique portfolio reflects his dual endeavors as an artist as well as an architect. The Jefferson Moon art collection includes representational and neo-impressionist portraits along with life drawings and urban landscapes. The practice of painting in oil on linen and drawing with graphite on paper is reminiscent of the tools used by classic artists of the past. Jefferson holds deep admiration for such great masters as Renoir, Monet, Degas, Eakins, Beaux and Cassatt.

Jefferson's work allows for as much time as one painting deserves, influenced by scenes and characters from real life or from his own collection of photographs. He has studied drawing and painting at both Studio Incaminatti and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. His work was chosen to be exhibited in Gallery 128 at PAFA and is a feature on the PAFA website. Jefferson's pieces are currently held in private collections.

Jeff is also an award winning architect licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The focus area of his practice has been historic restoration, period residential, educational and ecclesiastical architecture. He is a senior project manager at TAO in Moorestown, NJ.

Jefferson was born in New York, raised mostly in New Jersey and now resides with his wife Linda, in the southern New Jersey town of Haddonfield. They have a son Jeffrey and daughter Julia.
